Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am throwing a P0492 code but no accompanying P0491 code. I verified operation of secondary air pump and also didn't see any noticeable vacuum line cracks or disconnections. Also opened oil filler cap with engine running and engine began to idle roughly. Reinstalled oil filler cap then Disconnected vacuum line to intake and noticed less obvious but still noticeable change in idling. Im assuming it's something to do with bank 2 only since no p0491 code so this would eliminate the pump, valves, and vacuum reservoir, correct? Any ideas where i should troubleshoot next? Thanks
