Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Saturday PM my baby took a pretty solid hit to the rear end. I have a "plain jane" arctic silver C2 on black but I love the simple, clean lines. I would not be averse to a subtle rear bumper "upgrade" since it has to go the shop now. I appreciate any recommendations for something low key. Dave '00 C2 tip

POST 4Original post

For subtle, I would look into factory c2 mk1 rear bumper with GT3tek rear diffuser if you already have sideskirts. Or if you don't mind getting new exhaust tips, I would put on the MK2 rear bumper, which is even more subtle.

If you want subtle, there's always the Euro rear bumper cover.

"Solid hit"? Before you think of customization you should think of making sure you and the shop where the car will be repaired is fully aware of the full extent of the damage to the car. I suspect the damage involves more than just the bumper cover. My advice is to focus on getting the car repaired and restored to its pre-collision condition as best as humanly possible. Leave the customization for later after the car is repaired and you are sure of its condition. Being distracted with decisions about a different bumper cover and other things is not what you want right now. Get the car fixed and fixed right.
