Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I bought these here in 2013 from another Rennlister and had them professionally balanced, checked, & refinished in a gloss black.

I mean, I realize its not the stock offset, but I was trying to figure that out and it seems, from the posts I linked above, some people are running 18x10 et55 without trouble.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Wierd. Well, details:
I bought these here in 2013 from another Rennlister and had them professionally balanced, checked, & refinished in a gloss black. One wheel some curb rash that I sharpied over. Not noticeable from a few feet away. Other 3 wheels are near perfect. I put brand new Hankook Ventus V12 tires on in 2013. The tires have less than 2k miles on them and are in perfect condition.
Asking $1,100 plus shipping.

When I put in 2001 911 Carrera on Tirerack.com, the lowest offset for a 10 inch rear wheel is 52 and the highest is 65. Tirerack also sells et55 10 inch rear wheels for the 2001 Carrera 4. FWIW.
It appears these should fit even a narrow body 996:

Porsche made Sport Technos for the narrow body but the rear offset was 63, not 55. And the Factory wheels were 11 inches wide int he rear. The 63 offset wheels work on a C4S id you use a spacer. They don't need a spacer for a narrow body 996.
I don't believe these are Porsche Factory wheels. Pics of the backside of the wheel will tell the tale.
Ask and ye shall receive! Pics below. Now, are you saying that 18x10 ET 55 will not work for the 996? I mean, I realize its not the stock offset, but I was trying to figure that out and it seems, from the posts I linked above, some people are running 18x10 et55 without trouble.
The thread below says OEM sport technos were made in Italy. How can I tell if they are OEM or not?

At any rate these are still for sale XD
All the reps I've seen are made in Italy. IIRC, the OEM's for 18" 996 techno's should be made in Germany. Also the rear side is solid spoke and not hollow spoke. Also, there doesn't seem to be "996.xxx.xx.xxx" part number engraving on the back side. Also there is usually the wheel size info on both sides of the valve stem on all OEM wheels. As stated, factory didn't offer in 55offset AFAIK, at least in 18" for 996. Cayenne wheels are a different story altogether...
Just to add and confirm. The 18" Sport Techno wheels are made in Germany by BBS. They have the BBS name, 996 part number and "Germany" stamped on the wheel.
