Can report the same, had it before and after I replaced my clutch and slave cylinder.

Often, when I am driving and run the revs up to between 6 & 7K rpm (doesn't seem to matter what gear), I notice that the feel of the clutch pedal is a bit softer than just before.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've had my 2002 C4S for several years and have noticed an interesting phenomenon many times. Often, when I am driving and run the revs up to between 6 & 7K rpm (doesn't seem to matter what gear), I notice that the feel of the clutch pedal is a bit softer than just before. After several miles and shifts, the original spring pressure returns. Clutch works fine during this period, just the actuation force drops a bit for a while. I'm not really concerned, just curious. Anyone else experienced this?

POST 3Original post

Can report the same, had it before and after I replaced my clutch and slave cylinder. Maybe that the specific RPM range produces enough centrifugal effect on the clutch assembly making it feel lighter.
