Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I usually brake late in the 996...the only problem I run into is when I drive other cars...I also tend to brake late and sorta panic...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We have very good brakes on our cars. Today is just another day of driving fast and relying on my great brakes to haul me down whenever the real world tries to interfere with my forward progress. An old gal in a plymouth sundance was barreling toward me today in the wrong lane, I simply tapped the brakes and stepped to the side of her. I blessed my mono block brake calipers. What do you think of the brakes on your car?

I try to drive my winter truck Dodge Ram 2500 the same way as the Porsche, sometimes with hair-raising results. The Porsche has four times the braking power of this bohemoth.

POST 4Original post

Be careful braking late. Cars behind you have no idea how quickly this car can stop.

That's exactly what the previous owner of my car warned me about! I reall like how little drama there is when braking with this car, there's little to no dive, just rapid deceleration as well as how easy it is to heel-and-toe downshifting in this car.

POST 7Original post

Brakes are superb far better than my last car. No dive she just comes to a halt.

I had a Dodge Ram pickup for a while. Helps if you have both feet on the brake pedal and both hands on the ceiling. Then you can apply maximum braking effort.

POST 10Original post

great brakes. careful who is behind you when you use them.
