Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Now the problem is perhaps those yellow arrows - is there a way to get that to compress somehow more or what could be the issue here.

when u put it back together check the links before timing marks a bunch of times then have a friend check it again.

That's for the future - I have Jake's DVD set + that book so I think I've the needed information to set the timing.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Ok, what I'm doing wrong here. I'm following basically Jake's instructions how to get the chain out from camshafts.
I'm compressing that chain tensioner until it feels tight. Now the chain is still tight even though the chain tensioner has come down a bit. Is there a some kind of secret step or what to get that thing to compress more because based on that Jake's video that chain should be really loose.
In my case basically the sprockets are scratching that chain adjuster still no matter how I try to get cams out of that chain.
This is now in half relaxed state. I can get that white arrow to disappear when compressing that until it starts to feel tight. Now the problem is perhaps those yellow arrows - is there a way to get that to compress somehow more or what could be the issue here.
U have it correct. There is a magic spot where it works. Putting it back together is kinda a pita too. Keep working on it as its a square peg in a round hole.
Ok - who could reveal that secret - is it about having those cams in right orientation or do you have to play with the chain tensioner position or......
If j remember correctly u have to tip the tensioner out. Not sure if it was the top or bottom that leaves first. Its a combo of position, orientation and luck.
Success - just figured it out. You have to compress that just enough so that you can push that chain over the tensioner. Then you can just tilt the chain tensioner out from that combo. (edit) After seeing how that chain tensioner works that thing moves up and down so compress it enough (perhaps that point until it feels tight is actually the correct) and then move the whole "structure" up so that it's close to those two metal "arcs" in front - then you can push that chain over those two metal arcs.
Now to question is in which position should I leave that chain tensioner - can I take that off or should I leave it compressd (probably if I had to guess) - and if so how much?
I would leave it full compressed.
when u put it back together check the links before timing marks a bunch of times then have a friend check it again. U dont want get it wrong.
