Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Like any obsessed 996 owner, I decided to capture most of my adventures in keeping this car running proper and share them with the World. There was a recent thread on the subject of the front left (driver side for us with the steering wheel on the correct side) turn signal issues and my research through numerous forums led to what could possibly be the main culprit and explains its intermittent nature and ability to be corrected, in some cases, by displays of anger toward your headlight assembly. POST 2Original post

Eddie, This video just saved me a services appointment! I had read the other threads discussing this issue but I didn't realize the key was the bending of the turn signal bulb housing. I had to (impatiently) wait until the sun came up to fix but it worked! Thanks again. Cheers, Marc
