Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm looking for snows for the winter and it would seem Yokohama makes snows in the sizes we need for our cars. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on these tires, how good are they on dry pavement or in somewhat snow packed roads. thanks

POST 2Original post

I'm going to bump this - I've seen good reviews on these tires for other AWD vehicles, but nothing on our cars. Anyone using these? They're significantly less than the Pirellis from what I've found.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

From the research I did, the Pirellis are okay in light snow. But, not all that good with anything more than a coating. I finally went with Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme, they seem to have an excellent reputation. It hasn't snowed here yet, so I can't tell you how good they really are. They do have an excellent looking tread pattern.
