Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Reported fix
I cleaned the MAF,did a search(they pointed to a bad MAF) and ended up getting a new MAF and this solved this problem.

I have cleaned the MAF and that seems to keep it off for awhile, but it returns in a couple of days.

Let me go out and check....if I recall they are 1137 & 1126 on the CEL light....I'll go out and do a 'brisk' run and see what the ABS/PASM says on the OBD.
Check brake pads....would they throw it if they're worn

I haven't crawled under to check my brake pads....would they throw it if they're worn?

Thanks guys......I'll disconnect the MAF, drive, reconnect it, see what happens, correct?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've got an '03 C4S...had it for about 3 years now. A salvage that I had rebuilt. Needed the bumper covers, right front fender and a ding on the right rear. 65,000 miles, tip.
Under brisk acceleration, I get PASM & ABS light that will turn off when I shut down the engine at the next stop.
Now when my bodyman (er, bodykid) put on the rear bumper, he could not retrieve the wires to the license plate lights inside a brace back there...could this be it?
BTW, I messed around with LED's and they threw the ABS/PASM dash lights because of their low resistance.
I also get a CEL when the temp rises to 180. The (cheap) OBDII reader I have says it is the O2's. I have cleaned the MAF and that seems to keep it off for awhile, but it returns in a couple of days.
You guys have any ideas?

Wait there, I'll be back.
Hey Barn....what is this that you speak of.....snow?? No wait! It's coming, but 80 today, 50 tonight, 80 tomorrow. Leaves are changing, quite nice!
Codes are 1126, 1133 and now a 0451. ABS & PSM light up under medium acceleration.
I haven't crawled under to check my brake pads....would they throw it if they're worn? Or is it an electrical glitch?
I'll shut up and listen, now
Stop with the snow already!!
I had the ABS & PSM lights after a heavy acceleration.Reset with turning the car off.
I cleaned the MAF,did a search(they pointed to a bad MAF) and ended up getting a new MAF and this solved this problem.
It also threw bad O2 sensor/heater codes prior to cleaning.
My vote is bad MAF!
My OBD2 references are not handy but my WAG is the MAF. The MAF supplies data that is used to calculate load and if this data is bad it can cause the ABS and PASM controllers trouble. Hence the ABS/PASM warning lights.
You can disconnect the MAF. Then erase the error codes which clears the long term fuel trims and other learned adaptions from the DME and then drive the car normally to see if the ABS/PASM lights come back on and if the CEL comes back on.
Be sure to drive the car enough. A 30 mile or more drive is not too long.
Sincerely,
Macster.
Thanks guys......I'll disconnect the MAF, drive, reconnect it, see what happens, correct? Then, if I am in the same boat (CEL & PSM/ABS lights) new MAF from Pelican or Autohaus AZ.
