Really nice guy and I've been having a dialog with him regarding the car for about 2 months and finally got down to view it and test drive.

I noticed the HP boost during my test drive - Especially in 2nd gear RPM climb.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just returned home from my trip to Northern California/Southern Oregon. Fellow RL'er's car. He was extremely obsessed about care and maintenance.
Really nice guy and I've been having a dialog with him regarding the car for about 2 months and finally got down to view it and test drive. Brookings Oregon is not an easy place to access and requires a couple of small aircraft rides and 40 minute taxi ride from Seattle.
Well worth the trip! Beautiful area and got to see live the HUGE sink hole on HWY 101 just near the CA/OR border - This sink hole is about the size of a football field.
The car is a 2002 C4S silver w/full supple black leather - 110K miles and in 12/2015 had new clutch, IMS, brakes, full service/etc done to car only 3K miles ago. Full alignment, newer tires. Has a few rock chips on hood but other than that clean as can be! Also has a nice bluetooth stereo with hands free phone system for my iphone. PPI done January 2016.
This car has a RUF installed FVD Brombacher level 2 kit installed - Increased horsepower and incredible sounding stainless steel sport mufflers
Had a wonderful drive home to Seattle - The car is nice and tight, quiet and smooth. Nice to have a C4S back in the garage! I always forget how sweet these cars drive!! Gonna hold onto this one for at least a week!
Congrats! I moved from the Oregon Coast this past summer, and I remember seeing this car being listed FOREVER. Not hard to notice when you're the only two people on the coast with Porsches
Glad to see he finally got it to a good home!
thanks guys - another nice option on my car is the drivers seat lumbar adjustment - really was nice for my long drive home. those airbags hit just the right spots.
Thanks! Yeah the previous owner was told the IMS bearing was replaced when he purchased the car. He had the car sold in late November/early December 2015 contingent on PPI but it was determined during the PPI that the IMS bearing was not replaced so the buyer walked.
Seller had the IMS/clutch/flywheel and brakes all done in late December 2015 at 107K miles. Theres a thread the PO started regarding being lied to regarding the IMS.
If Brookings Or. wasn't such a difficult place to access the car would have been sold sooner for sure.
Thanks! We should get together sometime for a beer - You seem to be a hell of a lot more mechanically inclined than I ever will.
What part of town you located? I'm on Capitol Hill.
I noticed the HP boost during my test drive - Especially in 2nd gear RPM climb.
The stainless sport muffler sound is absolutely awesome - A little higher pitched than the Porsche sport muffler option. Ringtone is amazing at higher RPM
We should get C4S your ex Wife #2 and present Wife number 3 together so they can chat.
I'd love to hear your exhaust too.
Wife #2 cost you, or got you, a boat.
