I also recently installed the ipd plenum and GT3 throttle body (smoke tested when i put that in as well), the codes have been consistent with stock plenum, etc and with the IPD/GT3 setup.

Ive got/used durametric, which has been helpful so far, but Im by no means a super user as far as knowing what to look for next or what "normal" ranges are.

Hoping to get some help from the collective brain trust trying to resolve a few recurring codes. Ive tried searching, but info Ive found has been related to turbos or somewhat inconclusive. Car is a 2002 C2 6MT cab, with about 55k miles. We've had it since about 20k miles Codes are P1109 (594) Input variable charge measurement above limit P420 (50) catalyst efficiency below level Bank 1 Both codes have been present since may or june, but have only triggered CEL once. Reset that, and CEL hasnt come back So far, Ive smoke tested the engine (found a small leak at the brake booster vac connection and replaced that - thanks to help on the forum!) Replaced the MAF (w/Bosch) Cleaned the OE throttle body Replaced all O2 sensors I also recently installed the ipd plenum and GT3 throttle body (smoke tested when i put that in as well), the codes have been consistent with stock plenum, etc and with the IPD/GT3 setup. Any ideas or thoughts, or next place to look? Ive got/used durametric, which has been helpful so far, but Im by no means a super user as far as knowing what to look for next or what "normal" ranges are. I fought this same P0420 code. Tried everything (e.g. replace O2 sensors, replacing gas caps, oil caps, checked for vacuum leaks) to convince myself my cats weren't going bad. In the end, the O2 sensors were perfectly fine and doing their job, it was a bad catalytic converter on Bank2. Replaced it, three years later, no problems.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
