Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I just installed a set of Ohlins R&T on the car which lowered it and now the wheels look super tucked.

Yes I have since I replaced all control arms at the same time.

No, just steel wheel studs with threads that go the entire length to the end, but need to be replaced with longer ones.

On my 2002 with 225x40x18 F and 285x30x18 R, I am running 15mm spacers front and rear with Carrera 2 wheels, Bridgestone RE71RS tires, Bilstein PSS9s all set to GT3 specs.

I think they will, but I won't know until I change my wheel studs for more length.

Rennline on the other hand has bent over backwords on discussing their new titanium wheel studs and the testing they have been thru on the track, not to mention early on issues that needed to be addressed.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a 2003 C2 with the factory lightweight BBS wheels. I just installed a set of Ohlins R&T on the car which lowered it and now the wheels look super tucked. Does anyone that has the same setup put wheel spacers on? And if so, did you go 10,12 or 15mm?
Thanks!
+1 !!
Im in exactly the same position.
Im running the 235/295 tire combo and Eibach adjustable front coffin arms though, so I think Ill get away with 10 or 12mm spacers on the back, and 8-10mm spacers on the front.

Haven't tried 235/295 yet. May be tight in rear, but looks to be plenty of room in front.

I have a set of 18mm spacers that I am going to try out in the front to see if the 225s fit. I think they will, but I won't know until I change my wheel studs for more length. If so, 18mm front and 15mm rear may end up filling in all the space. Hopefully will get to it this month before the weather turns.
Next year I will get a set of 235/295 RE71RS to see how they fit with the 15mm and determine what spacer adjustments will need to be made. I wanted to buy the 235/295 RE71RS tires this year but didnt want to have to mess with wheel spacers a couple of days before the first track event, so instead i went with 225/285 which i knew would fit without a problem.
Good luck with your choices. The 996 looks very good at GT3 spec with extended tires/wheels using spacers. Handling feels much better as well since you widen the wheelbase.
No, just steel wheel studs with threads that go the entire length to the end, but need to be replaced with longer ones. I went to 15mm spacers from 7mm and never replaced the studs. Acer Titaniums have been sitting in a box for over 2 years.
Appreciate it.
Haven't made the switch to titanium yet. Acer has not been helpful with providing responses to questions on their strength on the track. In fact, they havent answered any of my last 5-6 emails. Forget about telephone calls. They direct everyone to emails. So my box of acer studs/bolts are collecting dust on the shelf.
Rennline on the other hand has bent over backwords on discussing their new titanium wheel studs and the testing they have been thru on the track, not to mention early on issues that needed to be addressed. It's worth a look if anyone wants titanium.
Probably going with a longer set of steel again because I know they work.
I looked into buying 50-100 sets off them to import into the UK 3 years ago, they were spectacularly unhelpful, and they offered me a meagre discount.
A Google search indicated they were similarly unresponsive/unhelpful when others asked them technical questions about the material they used and its country of origin.
IIRC, at least the threads were rolled rather than cut.
