Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used GT3Tek for front lip and rear diffuser, and FibreFlex for side skirts on my 99 c2 Cab.

I think the 996 is such a clean design, the best option is to leave it.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a base 996 cab but I love the look of a lip, side skirts and wing. I was looking at a few companies like betterbodiesmotorsports but their reviews are horrible.
What I liked about them was that it didnt require as much prep and it was held in place by 3m tape and discretely placed screw. I was thinking it would be easy to go back to a stock look.
Can you guys share experience with adding body work to your 996?
Getty Design and MA Shaw better?
I used GT3Tek for front lip and rear diffuser, and FibreFlex for side skirts on my 99 c2 Cab. Both employed double sided tape and discreet screws for attachment. Still love the look.
I'd probably source Genuine Porsche Parts. I was able to source new old stock Techart from Poland. I think the 996 is such a clean design, the best option is to leave it. Second best Porsche parts..
I did the Better Bodies Motorsports GT3 Tek full kit and love it. I had a fantastic shop do all the work: lots of prep required regardless of what BB says. My shop was not a fan of the 3M taping so it's on there for good with some sort of industrial glue. I'm sure it works just fine, but the thought of losing a piece of the body at 100 mph on the freeway didn't sound appealing. I knew that going into the deal so I'm good with it. Fitment was 90% perfect and nobody really can tell the 10% except me and some OCD body experts, lol.
You can see the pics on my profile album or pm me if additional questions. $1500 for the kit and around $5k for prep, paint & install (that also includes repair/respray front bumper cover and hood covered in rock chips).
I couldn't be happier that I went with the kit. Armando, at BBM, was great to deal with and straight up with me.
