Suggestion
If the leather wasn't torn, then I'd recommend OEM matched leather dye from Seat Doctors or Color Bond.

My driver side-bolster was also cracked and torn, so I decided to replace the entire leather top.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I got metropol blue interior. I think its partial leather seats, perforated middle. The side booster was cracked and finally split. Its in between seam. Rest of seat is good to go. Little worn but no issues. Thoughts do i have repaired by leather seat type shops, buy entire top section and replace? Then I have to do other to match. Ill take advice and suggestions please
I bought a 2000 996 with seats in real rough shape with sun fade and rips. Fixed them myself with thanks to a nice kit from autoleatherdye.com. For $100 you get all the materials need. The key to these guys is they make exact colors to perfectly match your Porsche. When you order you just pick your exact interior color and the kit comes with a good sized bottle of dye. Most sites make you mix your own color. Cant recommend highly enough. A saved me a ton and seats look like new.
Watch their You Tube video for exact instructions on how to do your own leather repair.
Take a look also to the kits by ColourLock. I have using them in several cars from several brands and the results are also highly recommendable (no affiliation )

Had a bad tear in the middle of the driver side seat bottom awhile back. Had it repaired at the exotic car place I used to take my car and thy did an amazing match. Cant really see any difference.
My driver side-bolster was also cracked and torn, so I decided to replace the entire leather top. Easy call in black because it matched up pretty good with the original leather seat. /X3
If the leather wasn't torn, then I'd recommend OEM matched leather dye from Seat Doctors or Color Bond. Since the seat cover is torn, I'd recommend getting a replacement. I've done the job many times. Alway remember on the Porsches before removing the seats, to disconnect the negative terminal to avoid any Airbag faults. Now, you can search around and see if any of the aftermarket companies make the seat cover, but since it's a rare color (Metropol Blue), you might find that the only option is to order it from Porsche. At least you'll know it will be a perfect match.
