Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone: I ended up going with Yokohama Advan Sport A/S tires. They are "y" rated, 440AAA, and all season. We live in the midwest (Illinois), so it is more for a temperature benefit than snow. This is only day one, but I am very pleased. I had Michelin Super Sports on there previously, and had considered the all season Sports, but they were backorder, and the Yokohamas seemed like a potential better value. I have used Yokohamas in the past with excellent results. I will update as time and seasons go by.

POST 2Original post

Cool. I use Yokohama AD08R. They are very sticky.

POST 4Original post

I switched to Yokohama AD08's front and back a couple of months ago. Very impressed with their performance.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Update: These tires are fantastic! They feel light, very precise, with a faster response than anticipated. So far, I prefer these over the Super Sports. Especially for living in area with all seasons, and temperatures that hit freezing and below. And, I do not plan on having a set of winter tires, so these are the "jack of all trades."

I love these tires. My favorites for dedicated wheels outside R-comp. I can't keep them on long enough to justify the cost for daily duties though. However, I always ran them on a pig STi so maybe they're more forgiving on my C2.

In my experience, they don't last long. One track season is about it (maybe 8 track days plus about 10K kilometers on the street). I really like them too but would like to find out how they compare to Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, so thinking about switching next season.
