And put a large KN filter with bosch sensor (stock) - changed oil and filter - took it for a drive and engine

Light is on - everything is seems right ??? How do I reset light?
Most likely, your MAF has oil residue on it from the K&N filter (notoriously over-oiled out of the box), which is triggering the fault codes.
Do a search to research remedies and cell-phone app software/hardware that can reset the codes.
Not a big deal, if you address it quickly.
Attempting to troubleshoot a check engine light without reading the trouble code is about as sane as trying to guess what the woman in your life is mad at you about. There are countless possibilities, and generally you're going to make things worse by guessing. Better to find the root cause and address it.
Buy/borrow an OBD-II code scanner, read the diagnostic trouble codes, post them here.

It interfaces with your phone via bluetooth and allows you to read and clear engine codes.
It does not work with any SRS lights.

Good luck chasing it down. The proof will be after several weeks and a few hundred miles.
I have chased this devil for several years and over $1K (when I got desperate and took it to an Indie).
Still comes on for no known provocation.
Wife has gotten very good at popping in the tool and resetting it.
