It's time for me to get a diagnostic computer, primarily for 1999-2004 cars, but I could use some edification on the subject When you buy one of these systems, does the package include the wire for connection from laptop to the car's computer, and the software to read the car?

You can try this yourself when you get the Durametric software and cable. When they release a new version of Durametric, uninstall your current version, reboot your computer, download and install the latest version and you start over again with the 3 VIN's. Whenever are you going to need more than 3 VIN's anyway, unless you are a shop or buyer/trader?
