Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. That person apparently owed $300+ in toll fees and pretty sure they got their license suspensed, sadly we don't have the option to use change/dollars were I am though.

Got a sh*tload of quarters and bills in the car at all times, come to a complete stop now and pay the human attendant or throw my change into the basket....and then i get to test my cars 0-70 or 90 or higher time as i leave the totally empty cash lanes, since everyone else goes through the EZPASS lanes.

If I recall, the last time we went it was getting easier to use EZ Pass.

You can use your Sunpass account to pay for both Sunpass and MDX tolls BUT you get different invoices from each if you have an infraction.

Long story short, the Florida Turnpike uses Sunpass while the highways going to downtown Miami (836/826/874) are owned by MDX.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

If they did that in CA, everyone would lose their FastPass "privileges" and no one could use those lanes again resulting in HUGE backups, which ios probably why they don't do it here.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I began daily driving my 03 4s back in September 2019, putting on 130 miles+/day in addition to my weekend fun drives My daily commute has tolls between $17 and $35 depending on if i drive all the way into Manhattan. After months of spending upwards of $500/month just in tolls I got a form letter In early Jan 2021 saying I had gone 26mph thru a 15mph toll booth, not in my 911 but rather in our Chevy Volt. Came with a warning that another violation would result in suspension of EZPASS for 60 days. Not 2 days later came letter #2, 27mph in the Volt again. Suspended for 60 days with threat of $50 fine for every use.
Ok, I can play your game.
I might never go back to EZPASS its so enjoyable!!
Had the same issue with Sunpass/MDX down in Miami. Someone had tag number similar to mine and drove a VW Beetle... I drive a VW Touareg soooo I had to call and get that taken care of. That person apparently owed $300+ in toll fees and pretty sure they got their license suspensed, sadly we don't have the option to use change/dollars were I am though.
Seems like every jurisdiction has their own rules. 90% of my tolls go to NJ Turnpike Authority (includes Garden Sate Parkway) and they obviously are much less stringent as i doubt Ive ever gone slower that 25mph through their EZPASS, but the tunnels & bridges into NYC go to the Port Authority, and they are a PITA when it comes to their EZPASS lanes.
Takes a lot more than a small inconvenience to get under my skin.
Long story short, the Florida Turnpike uses Sunpass while the highways going to downtown Miami (836/826/874) are owned by MDX. I think the only place you can pay with change or bills closest to Miami Dade is probably up by Pompano Beach but everywhere else is pay by plate. The worst part is... You can use your Sunpass account to pay for both Sunpass and MDX tolls BUT you get different invoices from each if you have an infraction. Luckily we don't have speed measuring devices in the toll areas... I'd be proper screwed if they ever did.
odd, nearly everyone in this area goes through the ezpass tolls at 30mph plus (some more like 50, but they are lunatics).
I tend to drop to about 25 and haven't had any warnings. Weird they would be so strict. What toll was it?
They actually measure your speed going thru lanes in NY?
If they did that in CA, everyone would lose their FastPass "privileges" and no one could use those lanes again resulting in HUGE backups, which ios probably why they don't do it here.
I only got thru the FastPass lane below 15 mph unless all of the traffic is all backed up. I do slow down but I probably go thru at around 25-30 when I do but I've probably gone thru faster too.
LOL!
I received an EZ pass speeding notice, think 10 over limit with a rental car. I called EZpass, they remove it.
Probably different now bc of less traffic, but may help to call. I was surprised, the EZ pass customer service person I called was polite and helpful. Pass is great as they provide a discount over the change / person collector lane, and usually quicker than stopping and paying.
Nebraska will get desperate enough for $ soon enough. Growing up in NJ when all tolls were a dime or a quarter, the game was to see how fast you could drive thru and still hit the basket with the coins. Also when gambling began in Atlantic City us youngsters would always forget to not lose our last dollar at the BJ tables so we could afford to drive home, lol.
One thing i really like about EZPASS is you can get detail in the monthly statement showing exact timestamps between entry point and exit My daily 48 mile best was 34 minutes. (15w to 7a)
Yeah I lived in the Chicagoland area twice during my life so I totally understand EZ Pass and the coin toss game. I find it interesting that some of the exits off of at least one of the newer expressways have exits that if you don't have an electronic responder you have to just run it as there isn't any coin net and GOD forbid not a person in a booth! Kneebraska gonna have to grow a lot to get to the point of needing pay as you go expressways...thankfully.
The last time I was in Florida (a little less than a year ago) I think Sun Pass still had a cash lane (might have been a previous trip though) because I had to use it...
I live close to Homestead Motor Speedway and I think the last cash lane is over past the airport, almost in downtown and before getting to i95 which is east. All the ones on the Turnpike are SunPass and Pay by plate all the way to Pompano or West Palm beach.
I think I hit 50 going through the GG Bridge toll booths today - there's no way they could try to enforce a 25mph speed limit unless there were routine accidents that forced their hands on the issue.
Growing up in Philly my Dad taught me at a young age the joy of speeding through tolls while depositing the correct change! God speed good Sir!

Now in Texas thank goodness!
They are getting more segments of road here with the scanners over the highway itself so you don't slow down at all. I try to slow to something near the posted 25 mph or whatever it is but rarely do. Never been called on it. Hopefully that doesn't make it's way here. I'm trying to remember the deal with Florida. We usually stay around Orlando. If I recall, the last time we went it was getting easier to use EZ Pass. We didn't go this year, but likely will next winter if the Covid thing has calmed down.
