This is not a probability of success.

LEDs have a lower voltage than the stock incandescent bulbs so some cars (BMW) think the bulb is burned out if you replace with LEDs.

These are called "city lights", you can select either the left or the right side (both front and back) using the light switch to be lit up depending on which side of the street you park on, the intent is for other driver to see your car at a distance at night so as to not hit it.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I installed some wedge style 10 diode bulbs in my parking lights. I am really pleased $5.99 shipped for a 10 pack off eBay. Made the car look 10 years newer..... Anyone else done it/ digging it?
Does it trigger any dash lights or anything? LEDs have a lower voltage than the stock incandescent bulbs so some cars (BMW) think the bulb is burned out if you replace with LEDs.
BTW, it does look nice!
Pardon my ignorance, but what applications would these T 10 bulbs apply to? You could use them as a replacement for the DRL's , and.... what other bulbs could be replaced... without any dash lights being triggered of course.
Only 194 type bulbs will not make the ecu mad. Mostly found in low lighting conditions like marker lights, parking lights, license plate lights, etc. All other bulb types generally trigger ecu warning unless you go with the "error free" also known as "canbus" led light replacements.
You can go to sites like Sylvania.com to find application guide for your specific vehicle to see all the locations that use this type.

It's probably more useful in cities with tight narrow streets, I doubt I will ever use it.
I use the LEDs too, a pair cost me $6 shipped in 2013, no error codes either.
This was the link I bought from but it's no longer available, you should be able to find more less expensive ones similar to the ones I got, they still work just great.
