Reason for selling: Changing the car from weekend warrior to a DD with a carpool buddy, which probably doesn't enjoy loud car as i do.

I guess if the car was running 11's I wouldn't mind it as much but high 13's doesn't justify such a loud exhaust in my opinion.

How's the fitment/look on the ebay muffler bypass pipes? The fabspeed ones are about $450 after shipping vs $140 on ebay. Doesn't look like anything complex, and hardly any pipe to justify the $450.
If anyone is selling a pair of bypass pipes let me know as well
For anyone who owns a set... what is the sound like compared to just having the mufflers off? I imagine it's basically exactly the same but I'm curious. I have my mufflers off right now in preperation for the Gundo hack and started it up to see what the bypass pipes would sound like. It's funny... I sort of like it but I think it's just a tad loud for me. I guess if the car was running 11's I wouldn't mind it as much but high 13's doesn't justify such a loud exhaust in my opinion.
Loud for sure Kmagnuss...I wouldn't have it any other way (getting cat bypass pipes on soon ,for even more noise :P ) I mean increase in a few ponies.
I would say forget the Gundo (Flame suit on), get the bypass pipes and save the extra weight. If it is too loud, put the stock mufflers back on...
For anybody that is interested, this came up on Chicago Craigslist....looks like the factory mod....$200 doesn't sound too bad.

Got my bypass pipes on eBay and LOVE them! Sound great and nothing too crazy. Paid $145 shipped. The guy is in Pennsylvania. Usually has a few on eBay.
Drone isnt that bad to be honest, though I have a e30 bmw which I just sold which has no cat as well, so this is a big improvement. I would never go back to stock. In addition, I have the "orange cap" mod which sounds great as well.
Personally the drone was not bad at all. My Lexus IS300 w/ melon shooter exhaust had a worse drone. Sound is very subjective.

ebay pipes look fine but the edges tarnish easily. Fitment is pretty good. I've had mine on year-round for a few years now.
