Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

He only changed the price once, and that was to *add* $1000 to make it $28K.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...234008400.html Ive seen this car posted on craigs list over the past 18 months. Maybe the seller would understand that if his cars hasnt sold in 18 months at $27K, it might be over priced. Maybe he enjoys posting ads over and over again

POST 2Original post

Maybe his wife is forcing him to sell it. But hunny, I have it for sale but no one is interested in it. . . . . .

POST 3Original post

Maybe is on denial on selling? OR he does not know the market for his year/model. It will take someone to email him and tell him is WAY overpriced. Not even dealers are advertising that high

POST 4Original post

Or there's a sucker born every minute, just they don't visit craigslist till they get older.

POST 6Original post

He is going to stay with it until it starts appealing to vintage 911 buyers

POST 7Original post

We had a car like that in Vancouver too. A black 1999. It was up on Craigslist for at least 18 months and I swear it was more like two years. He only changed the price once, and that was to *add* $1000 to make it $28K. Eventually it must have sold because it eventually came down. I wondered why he wouldn't drop the price...in fact I knew the guy, but not all that well. He was a dealer and I guess he had to get what he had to get.
