I cleaned all the others and wasnt aware of the pillar drain.

How else is that piece connected, and how easy is it to get that front drain cleaned - presuming it's behind there?

The pipe running through it is just a rubber hose that I can remove / push back in.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Everyone,
I'm a week into my 'new to me' 2003 C4S coupe. Absolutely love it.
I fixed a few quick things, but the biggest problem I have right now is driver side footwell has wet carpet, and I know it's my driver side A pillar sunroof drain tube thats blocked as my driver A pillar is ruined by water egress. I can only get about 25% down using weed whacker cable coming in via the sunroof hole and working down until I hit I'm guessing a block.
I need to come up from the bottom, but for the life of me I can't find the drain outlet hole in the drivers front wheel well, behind the driver wheel - before the door hinge.
It's driving me nuts!
Here are the pics with the liner removed.

I'm sure that some of you wide body TT owners have had the same problem in the past, and know how to remove the plastic behind the front driver wheel well liner in order to get to the bulk head behind and therefore to the drain outlet?
I removed the large bolt at the top but it still held in tight. The pipe running through it is just a rubber hose that I can remove / push back in.
How else is that piece connected, and how easy is it to get that front drain cleaned - presuming it's behind there?
Can someone please let me know how to remove that piece, where the other fastener(s) / bolts are, or link me to a breakdown image.
I'd gratefully appreciate any and all help.
I feel I'm so close..
Thanks!
You're looking in the wrong place. The drain is the cream colored hose behind the fuse box. It goes through in the door hinge area. There is a rubber 90 degree angle on the end of the drain which goes through the car body.
I just took that hinge grommet off, its pointed on the other side and cant drain. With my finger in that hard to reach spot, I cant feel a pipe hole behind it.
I took off the fuse panel and looked at the wires behind, but dont see a pipe, also looking
up in the footwell to the left above the fuse wires
if this drain is a maintenance item is it this obscure and buried up in a bulkhead hard to get to? Is it just a TT/C4S wide body thing?

same issue on my 2002 C4S. I cleaned all the others and wasnt aware of the pillar drain.
water drips in from the Pillar area while braking (after heavy rain). Thought I would look roof mounts.
I think the actual drain outlet is about 2" forward of that plug, so it is behind the windshield washer tank on the driver's side. On the passenger's side it is easy to get to as I recall.
