Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For some reason even though I have a proper support from the middle jacking point when lowering the engine that right side goes down when opening the engine mount from the right side. Left side works properly. Any idea why this happens and what is the proper jacking point for another jack to support the engine from the right side? There are a couple of points that could be used just about 30-40cm (1 foot) the the right but would like to be sure.

POST 3Original post

One jack is all you need. Just find the sweet spot

POST 4Original post

2x4 across the rear row of bolts for the sump plate. Jack in the middle of the 2x4. Lifts nice and even.
