OK, I�m sure this has been discussed many times so I apologize for not knowing how to search for it. Put new batteries in both of my remotes on my new 996 and they barely work. Even if I hold the remote directly over the car. Works intermittently. Any suggestions for how to remedy this announce would be greatly appreciated.

To expand on this, fm transmitter or if the centre console is no properly closed, remotes don't work. Everything unplugged/closed properly, remotes work as expected.

Mine used to work intermittently before failing completely. 10-1 it's due to cracked solder connections. Some people have re-soldered them with success. I'm not one of those people.
