Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My friends Dad was in the market to buy a Ferrari and I told him that I would be interested to check out his Porsche. He drove like 3K/year and kept it in excellent shape. I figured if I were to buy a Porschethis would be the one. I went home to visit my parents a few weeks ago and drove a couple hours to go test drive the car. I literally had one hour to make a decision. I pulled the trigger and bought it! I already did hours of homework before and waited a few months before seeing the car so I knew everything I needed to know. (I would literally watch Porsche videos on youtube and be glued to all the forums!) It was an obsession, I was thinking about this damn car night and day.
I live in Los Angeles and the car got shipped yesterday. I went STRAIGHT TO THE CARWASH!!
Check it out! Let me know what you guys think!
Hey, hey, hey...... many of us own cabs and we love em. Gives you the best of both worlds, and when you think you need to modify your exhaust, just drive with the top down, lol. Congrats and welcome.
I know there are a million things on the IMS issue for the 996, I have not had the upgrade. Can anyone give me some peace of mind on this issue? Thanks!
Most guys just wait to swap in a new IMS Bearing the next time the car needs a new clutch.
Oh, oops.
Well, there are several theories. The prevailing one is that while you are all excited about the new car, get the IMS bearing swapped out. Then, there are about 5 WYAIT items you probably want to add to the list. If you aren't careful, you can end up dropping $3k or $4k though. So don't get carried away.
