Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

So just back from 16 days touring France and Italy in a new-to-me in a 2003 C2 cab. How did the car get on? Here's the stats: Mileage before - 62,025 Miles driven - 3,177 Average MPG - 22.4 Average speed - 52mph Driving hours - 61 Oil used - 500ml (1 pint) Breakages - the external temperature gauge gave some intermittent strange readings I have to say I'm impressed for a 12 year old car! And here's the video, a poor man's version of the Italian Job! Grand St Bernard pass in Porsche 911 - YouTube

Nice road trip and thanks for the video update. Yes, I have to agree for the age of these cars, mine is an 04, they have incredible performance.

POST 4Original post

Very nice. But something is severely wrong with your car: The factory screwed up and put the steering wheel on the wrong side. No?

POST 6Original post

Wow nice ride! The most I ever did was +/-800 miles in 13 hours. More photos please!

Nice journey, Nice Video as well, we are looking to do the same shortly (next couple of years) and buying the car was the first stage. We aim to go via the old rally routes of yesteryear ( Pirelli Porsche action ) see the old video here. But go further down into Italy and visit a war grave at Cassino and come back via Venice and then pick up the rest of the rally route home. Depending on the time of year we may link with the Mille Miglia as a spectator. But want to pick up the alpine passes as you have done. O_Sr

Nice! Reminds me of my drive in France and Northern Italy many years ago... in a rental Renault. I wished i were driving a Porsche...

1) Nice video! 2) Your thread title reminded me of this: "It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses."
