Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When I split the one on my Boxster I went to the dealer, one of the mechanics had a collection where people had the locking lug removed and installed a standard lug bolt.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So took off my wheels to clean them, and also to rotate my tires and my lug/tool/socket split at the end so now it is worthless. Anyone know the part number or anywhere I can get a new one. Thanks, HG

POST 2Original post

Its a 19mm socket. You can buy a used one on ebay but I'd get a set of metric sockets and torque wrench.

^Good Advice^ It's nice to have the factory wrench for your toolkit/pouch and it's useful in an emergency, but as a true "lug wrench" it's pretty useless...

"It's nice to have the factory wrench for your toolkit/pouch and it's useful in an emergency" Yep, saw the ones on e bay and I have a full set of tools. Just wanted to see if anyone knew the part number or had one. Thanks RLs

When I split the one on my Boxster I went to the dealer, one of the mechanics had a collection where people had the locking lug removed and installed a standard lug bolt. He had a socket that matched my lock pattern and sold it to me for $20.

POST 6Original post

how the hell do you rotate your tires? Mine are different sizes front to back and are uni-directional side to side...

You have a friendly tire guy pull them off the rims and swap sides of the vehicle...
