I have a 1999 C4 and I have been chasing a low idle when starting my car which, at times, would even make the car stall. I phoned my mechanic to get an appointment, he knows the car quite well. He recommended that disconnect the battery overnight to allow the ECU to reset. Worked like a charm. I pass this on to see if this simple task may help your car. Mark Schuler
