Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So, it looks like it would be a direct bolt up, but I havent looked for dims. just yet. Has anyone tried to install a C4S engine cover on the narrow body C2? Im going to look for a black or red C4S engine cover of it will go on. I love that reflector.

POST 2Original post

I have seen more than one C4S covers for sale from guy's thinking they would fit the C2, not even close to fitting

This might help shed light on your question, assuming the body kit being used here matched the original body shape. ...hope this helps?!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That doesnt look like it fits well at all. Maybe not worth the trouble to even look into.

Turbo decklid part number is 996 512 921 00 GT2 decklid part number is 996 512 221 30 C2 decklid part number is 996 512 011 01 C4s coupe decklid part number is 996 512 221 01 C4s cabrio deck lid part number is 996 512 221 02 then there's the different pieces attached to the actual decklid cover that are different.

POST 8Original post

Thanks for the visual on the deck lid. I have been desperately looking to add a GT3RS type wing on my C4S. Everything I read is that there is no cross over for any other deck lids for the C4S which limits options to the Misha GT2 type wing. The only thing I can think of that might fit is a turbo deck lid (only other widebody). Is the only difference between the C4s and TT, the air intake under the lid? Could that be modified? Only option I see to get the GT3RS type wing on a 4S is the custom fab rought or the machined uprights like the RSR. Anyone have any experience adding wings to a C4S?

Turbo has super heavy hydraulic spoiler actuation. It's so heavy that there is a second gas strut to hold the lid open. The Misha GT2 fixed wing looks fantastic. I wish I had one.

POST 10Original post

The C4S Cabrio and Turbo deck lids are the only ones that are a direct swap for the wide body cars.
