Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I also used Loctite on the threads which Bentley didn't mention, so it may have been overkill....

Suggestion

I could not find any value for the upper bolt torque value, but it wouldn't be much different - I think I used slightly less when I replaced my drop links.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

Quotes source post: 12106071

That would be about 37 FT/LB for us in the US. Not knowing the spec, I realize I probably cranked mine to about 50 FT/LB when I did mine.

POST 4Original post

How do the rear ones come out? Do you have to remove the rear shock to get it out, or can you get at the nuts without removal of anything else? Thanks.

POST 5Original post

If its anything like my Boxster S drop links (which I think it is), its very simple - no shock removal required. The drop links are mounted between the shock body and the (anti)sway bar end.
