Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2000 911 and the fuel gauge in inoperative and the tachometer bounces when the car gets shut off. I have tried North Hollywood Speedo, Module Masters, Atlanta Speedometer, and German Audi Tech. None of these places works on the 996 cluster anymore; and I seemingly can only find LCD repairs anymore. Is anyone doing actual gauge repairs anymore? Thank You for any help.

Have you confirmed the issue is actually the cluster and not something else ? Id hate to see you replace the cluster and have the same issue.
