Hi, I've been in poor health, however, I did just get my liver transplant. I mention this because my car sat with the front lower than the rear. The hard top was on (it's a cab), but the driver's window was not sealed. I came out to find the battery dead and the alarm control module submerged. I removed it, dried it, and cleaned up, there was some corrosion between the electric doo dads. I reinstalled it, and everything works, except the doors will not lock. I hear the lock solenoids lock, but it immediately unlocks and the dome light comes on. Where do I go from here? Will I need a new alarm control module, will I need new keys, do I get the boxes frequency tuned to my key, or do I part the car out? Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Chris. Hopefully someone will chime in with what could be causing the issue. It does seem to be something with the alarm module. Question for you? What happens if you try to lock the car with the key? Does it unlock the car? IF you do end up needing a new alarm module, I think you may also end up needing a new DME, Immobilizer and Keys. If you do, I have a full set up available that I would make you a good deal on.
