Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Upon leaving a Porsche event, i drove over an unmarked speedbump, then I heard sounds coming from the wheel wells. I looked and found the inner fender had moved against the tire. I was able to restore it to its original shape and anchored it . Drove the car and still hear the noise and feel a bit of feedback from the tires. I took the car to a shop to have them see if they could see any damaged parts in the front end, they could not, but said to get an alignment . I have an appointment with an alignment shop he told me that caster was not something that could be adjusted on my Porsche. That surprises me, and I thought that might be what could be wrong. But what do I know? I just hope it takes care of the noise.

POST 3Original post

If the control arm fork is bent it will shift the castor. I suspect this ir a toe link is bent.

Id be looking at suspension mount points. It must have been one hell of a hit to buckle a fender liner.

POST 5Original post

Dang how fast were you going when you hit the speed bump?
