So I departed late this afternoon for Northern Calif. to visually inspect/test drive the C4S I hope to buy tomorrow so I can finally be committed. One of the smaller "puddle jumpers" I flew on was a Saab jet - Didn't know they still produced these. ...And Mt. Rainier was looking good. Wish I had a real camera in tow.

Good luck with the 4S. Hope it all works out. Cool pics too. I think Saab plane and auto are two different companies. I think they still make planes. Though I thought they only made military planes now.

Yes, two separate companies with the same name. They produce the Swedish military plane JAS 39 Gripen. The big pic is Saab 37 Viggen, the old military plane. I live close by the Saab factory in Link�ping and se JAS almost on a daily base, it's an small and nice looking aircraft...
