Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You buy a set, wear them out then have to buy another set, send the first set back for store credit.

So if u just send the item back for a refund against your original purchase they wont give u a credit that can be used for another of the original item so u dont have to buy it twice?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

New rotors installed in April 2022 (12 or so HPDE events ago). I tend to buy most consumables from FCP Euro. Post track event inspection revealed this beauty on the front right rotor. Will promptly replace with new rotor on its way from FCP Euro.
U should really just take the return credit and switch brands to get a slotted only rotor. Drilled will only disappoint u on the track at some point cause they will crack mid event and end your day.
@De Jeeper
told me you could return something and purchase something else with the credit and I told him I believed that is not the case. I waited on hold the other day to confirm what I said above.
You buy something then buy the same thing again. When you return it you get store credit which can be used on anything. You could buy a different rotor with that credit but you'd be buying rotors twice not once.
Of course you may be able to get them to make exceptions, I have never tried.
I have returned different brands but that was because they no longer carried the original brand.
When you need a replacement, you must purchase the new replacement part first.
Replacement orders must be made for the same item purchased on the original order. You will receive a customer credit in the amount of your original order when you send the applicable replacement part back.
Once you receive your replacement part, you can send the initial item you purchased from FCP Euro back.
Upon receipt of the part, we will issue you a customer credit against the original order amount.
We do not cover the cost of brand upgrades or price increases.
So basically he could by different rotors, return the original ones and have a store credit for the amount of original ones to spend as he wants? Thats how i read it? I guess i need to read their policys again cause this is confusing.
I clarified it with the guy yesterday. First thing I said is I want to prove my friend Aaron wrong, but would be happy if he's right!
You cannot return anything without first purchasing the exact same product again. You always get credit for the price you paid for the one you're returning. So you are also on the hook for price increases.
So u still have to buy the item twice and u dont get your money back for the second one.......u just have to spend the store credit after they recieve the part back.
So if u just send the item back for a refund against your original purchase they wont give u a credit that can be used for another of the original item so u dont have to buy it twice?
Or do they refund your card when they get the return?
You must purchase the replacement first and pay for it. They don't accept returns without doing this. It's one of the things that makes this work for them.
Think about if you only bought front rotors from them. You buy a set, wear them out then have to buy another set, send the first set back for store credit. You've paid for 2 sets and since you only buy front rotors you have a credit with them you can't use until you need another set. The guarantee works well if you buy all your consumables for all your cars from them. A revolving door of store credits.
I got a store credit. Haven't used it yet. In my case it was because the part would not work so I purchased the correct part and the credited me for the one that was not usable. In some ways I should have received a credit card refund for the Returned merchandise that was not usable but in the end at least I got a store credit.
Theses are almost all that I will buy from FCP. Anything else will be most likely be cheaper somewhere else and probably not going to fail.
Example new bosch starter FCP $320, Eeuro $245
Pads
Rotors
Bearings
Filters
Brake Fluid
Suspension for Volvo and VW
I had to do some carbon cleaning on my Audi, watched some videos and FCP euro has good videos. I figured I would support them and buy the parts from them. One part that I bought was a pressurized blast tank. I think it was $159, when I got it, I looked up the brand and it's $99 at Northern Tool, and it's a piece of junk.
I went to Harbor Freight and bought the same exact thing under their brand for $59.99.
At least FCP Euro accepted my return after I had to pay $35 for return shipping.
In the end, I don't think you are really getting a lot more for your money there. You are probably paying more for most things. Nothing bad to say about them, it's just their model and if they lost money on it, they wouldn't offer it.
Yeah I once placed an order with FCP and realized that I had left out something out of my cart right after clicking submit on the order. Doh! I immediately got on the phone with them and proceeded to wait on hold forever. I then got on to their online chat, while still on hold on the phone, and eventually got a rep to respond. But by that time the order had processed according to them and their response was basically too bad, so sad, GFY. But they would gladly accept a new order, with shipping charges, if I wanted.
And that was the last time that I ever ordered something from FCP.
So you were upset that you made a mistake, they process orders too quickly and want $7 to send out an under $50 order.
I do think as with most mail order companies they don't want to deal with talking to people person to person.
Yeah if their system is so quick to lock down orders and yet their customer service is so slow to not be able to help, then its not a business that Im gonna be giving money to.
