Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm going to look at it Friday. I've been looking for an autocross/track car. My one concern is that he says the engine consumes about a quart of oil on track days. It was rebuilt about 20K ago, and it's a Stage II Flat six engine.
Thoughts? Concerns?

I would think after 20k miles the rings should be seated . Nikasil cylinders are VERY tough and sometimes can be finicky to seat rings . A manometer test would let you know if the AOS has issues .
Put in a " ticket " to LN Engineering and tell them your concerns . I am sure Jud or Charles will answer quickly . Jud was previously at FSI so may know the build .
Ask him whether he used racing oil. And if he did, how did he manage it? In and out of the engine in a day, a week, a month? Very short term use only. Any UOA's?
