Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So, I have been fighting this remote lock, unlock, alrarm issue forever. Somehwere in my process of replacing door locks, key battery and car battery my remote key stopped working, both of the keys actually. When you press the burton the key light flashes a couple times, but nothing happens. I have tried the method in the manual, insert in the door turn, hold and press button. No luck, strangely both keys stopped working at the same time, so it must be something in the car. Other symptoms, when I unlock the car w the key manually, the alarm goes off if I dont start the car in a few seconds. The door lock button blinks red, I can manually lock/unlock with the button. Also, the gas tank stays locked. It is a trick to unlock the gas tank, i have use the key in the door, tun it a couple times and ultimately the gas tank will unlock.
Before I go to the dealer to get it computer diagnosed, does anyone have any other ideas? All the fuses are good, I have run out of ideas.
Appreciate any advice.
Try this. Manually unlock the door, then open the door & set off the alarm. Then shut the door and relock it, which should shut the alarm off. Then, leave the door closed and lock & unlock the door, then unlock it again.
If that doesnt work you will need a PIWIS to reprogram the imobilizer and obtain your
IPASS Codes from a Porsche dealer based on your VIN.
This may be oversimplified and not get to the root cause, but try this: Unlock the door manually and when the alarm goes off, press the remote key fob button once to turn off the alarm. /X3
