Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My 2001 Carrera 4 doesnt have heated seats. When I put the top down, they could help keep things warm. Im assuming its plug and play? I buy the switches, interconnecting cables, and heaters to go inside the seats? Or, is it a huge chore?
I agree, I have heated seats and like turning them on when its chilly with the top down. Along with the heater. Youd be surprised how many times its chilly, even in summer.
Sure, if you're a sissy. It was 18F this morning when I left for work. Somehow I made it to work without heated seats. Well, at least, functioning heated seats.
The wife's Grand Cherokee turns on the heated seats and steering wheel any time you start it with an outside temp below 40 degrees. I don't even have to choose to be a sissy...
This is truly the only option I want when I buy any car and of course, my car does not have it. I know I've seen another thread about this before and it is possible. I like my heat scolding if I am not burnt it isn't hot enough. I had an e36 M3 and it got so hot it would actually hurt but I don't think that was working correctly LOL
I added heated seats over 10 years ago to my Cab. Not exactly plug and play but that bad. Did mine based on this wrieup of doing the in a Boxster.

A wonderful addition to the car.
Thanks for posting this link. I put an 18-way seat in my car(with a good deal of circuit remapping) and have a heater switch but never hooked up power for the seat heater; mostly because I'm lazy and didn't want to start the wire tracing. With that link as resource now, its on my list for a bunch of things I'll be doing in three weeks -- when have some extra days off.
