Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that report identifying a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Reported cause
I had the same issue and the problem was with the center lid console.
Leading evidence: 'center lid console' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'center lid console' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check console storage lid is closed' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I just had a new radio installed but it was doing the beep even before that.

Suspected cause
The front trunk latch is probably the most likely culprit.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Cant make it stop, Checked all doors and bonnet and engine lids as well as gas cap. I noticed the interior motion does not work either, I checked it with roof down. Any suggestions?
Does the alarm fail to arm at all (i.e. it beeps, the doors don't lock)?
If so, check the frunk, engine lid, and both door switches - "major" faults that will prevent the system from arming.
Check the console storage lid is closed.
Make sure the metal clip that detects radio removal isn't broken and grounding out on the radio or metal frame as this caused the issue for me.
Checked it too, even locked it. Still a damn "beep"!
I just had a new radio installed but it was doing the beep even before that.
I appreciate the help guys, keep em' coming
if you cant find any cause, maybe porsche can check it and do some reset on the alarm system. sounds like it may have some fault, they have alot of trouble with that system , maybe they can recognize immediately
The doors/lids lock do not necessarily mean the alarm has detected the correct open/close state. The reason is the close/open status is detected by micro switches, which can fail internally. I think durametric can indicate the status of these switches but I have not tried.
I had the same issue and the problem was with the center lid console. No more beeps and the red light on the door lock switch no longer stays on.
The lock system seems to be connected with anything that has a lock switch. I hope this helps because it took me quite some time to resolve this and changed unnecessary parts
Pull the radio out and check to see if the ground wire was reattached correctly. If it wasn't, reattach it. If it was unplug it. This is two minutes of work and may solve your problem. Good luck.
