Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Wow... saw this on 997 forum http://www.nhregister.com/articles/2...9726016016.txt http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/08/b...bezzled-funds/

POST 2Original post

I think it's more Loles than Farnbacher. I've heard farnbacher is doing biz as usual.

POST 4Original post

Shop seems to be closed and Zone Tech Tactics has been moved to Danbury Porsche. I don't know if the shop closing is temporary or not ...

Farnbacher Loles websites are all down as well. I wanted to try and make Zone I tech tactics this year, last one I went to was easily 10 years ago

POST 6Original post

Marc, I am thinking about getting there this year too. Maybe we can finally meet. Same date - Feb 27 but moved to Danbury Porsche instead of FB.

Is this the place that Chao got his c2 flashed?

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 7133839

Yup!

POST 10Original post

yeah, I was hoping that eventually I might get mine done by them.

POST 12Original post

Its official....talked to an "insider" there....its done..place is empty save for the lifts and ligh bulbs. Greg Loles scammed a bunch of money from a church and its the tip of the iceberg.

So everyone lost their jobs and the race team is dead? That's really sad.

POST 15Original post

I was about 3/4 mile from them yesterday morning (Danbury Fair Mall), I should have driven by. Perhaps next time I'm there, I'll pull in, take a look, maybe take some pics.

POST 16Original post

The real sad story is that all the employees including Spencer *** whom we all know to be a great guy have lost their jobs just before Xmas. I know that one of the guys has just had twins. The good news is that Spencer & Crew have setup shop 10mins away and are open for business and are willing to help everyone, please lend your support to a great bunch of people who have misfortune to be part of this. Spencer can be reached at [phone removed].

Your point being? With respect to the racing team?

POST 18Original post

I was just joking....they were going to BMW's and that would mean they wouldn't be supporting Porsche stuff anymore. Although it's still bad they are closing up shop and Loles apparently has taken money from people.

Its Cool, I probably should have put a smiley in my post too. I figured both the BMW and Porsche in my avatar was enough. Actually, there is a lot less bagging on BMWs here then bagging on Porsches in the M3 forums. Maturity factor seems to be higher here, no matter what your on your preference of car.

POST 20Original post

So, when I bought my car about 2 months ago, I saw that the previous owner had done all the service at F-L. I was planning to continue that practice, thinking that it's probabaly a good idea to keep the car with people that are familiar with it. Now that this is no longer an option, does anyone here have a recommendation for a good Porsche mechanic near Manhattan?

All the way to Connecticut? Wow. I use this guy in Freeport, NY. It's not too far from the LIRR station, and closer than CT. http://www.rudtnersracing.com/index2.php He isn't a ripoff, but if you're looking for a bargain go somewhere else. He knows his stuff.

POST 22Original post

Looks like a good spot. I'll check in with them when the time comes. Thanks for the advice.
