Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

After bank 1 was done-run the car and again error code P1324.

And on the first official test drive-I've got P1539 error code.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Greetings.
I'm new here and this is my first post.
The story to this date-got the car from auction in Canada.
Low millage,manual,wire throttle,no PSM...early version of 996.
No history at all in Porsche and there was the interesting part.
Most of the things was original from day one.
New coil packs, new o2 sensors, new spark plugs, new AOS,new catalytic converters and many more has been changed by me.
And on the first official test drive-I've got P1539 error code.
Quick search and found the problem-dead solenoid on bank 2.
Test it before buying new-it was dead.
The new solenoid came and removed the cam cover- tensioner pads needed replacing and order 2 sets for bank1 and 2.
After everything was in place-P1324....again.
Decide to change them on bank 1 to be sure that everything is in order AND most important-timing was in right position.
After bank 1 was done-run the car and again error code P1324.
Next was chain tensioner on bank 2-order second hand to test purpose(nothing again.)
Quick check that solenoid and tensioner are working-giving them 12v from battery and when the engine is running and everything seem to be OK.
After the tensioner next on the list was ECM-send to my good friend to see if there is any problem with it....nothing again.
So many times I've checked the timing-everything was perfect.
It's running fine to the moment when the car get above 1500rpm and starting to work poorly-misfire mostly.
Im from Bulgaria and the people who really know anything about this type of Carrera are few and still don't trust them to work on my car.
Only one independent service for Porsche is here and when get the car there-they wanted to drop the engine witch is not an option for me.
On this stage.....i'm pretty desperate...hope to find the answer here and finally.......drive it.
I just did the variocams on both side of the motor. It can be tricky to set the timing. Please post your proceedure of the refference u used. That will help us determine if u did it correctly. Do u have a scanner? Can u give us the crank deviation numbers at idle and while running?
