Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Oh, mine also has the RS air scoop installed permanently.

but I had the shop enlarge the opening (under the RS scoop) and permanently installed the scoop onto the deck.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi my fellow 996 brothers..
I am curious on whether there's a market for the 996.2 GT3 rear deck / spoiler combo? If yes, how much do they usually go for?
I am asking to see if I can sell my decklid / spoiler from my GT3 (to help offset the cost), and get a Cup setup. If the OE GT3 setup is not worth much $$$, then I probably won't do it, as it is one of those "nice / cool to have, but I probably don't really need the downforce" kind of deals..
Oh, mine also has the RS air scoop installed permanently.
Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated.
Edit: Title changed. I guess the GT3 deck is not the same as the "aero kit" deck?!
Yes, these generally sell.
You can go to the Pelican site and see what they sell for new (if you're curious), and then hit the classified section here and/or eBay to see what they sell for used.
Thanks for the feedback so far. I went to Pelican and this part is not on their catalog for some reasons.
I am not selling yet, sorry, as I was just trying to get a feel.. (or I'd have a car without a rear deck for a while.. !) Once I do my research (with help from you guys, thanks!), if I feel confident enough that it will sell, then I will go ahead and order the replacement parts... sorry for the confusion.. !
Here's a pic of the setup.. really just the standard GT3 stuff.. but I had the shop enlarge the opening (under the RS scoop) and permanently installed the scoop onto the deck. I guess it is not permanent per se, as you can rip it out (it is glued on), if you are going to repaint it anyway.
dont get rid of it,they are very very expensive new from porsche, and for the future if you sell your car you will want the original, and even though the deck lid/spoiler looks the same, the aerokit is different for the Carerra,so if you sell this piece its only good for a gt3.
Ok, so standard Carrera can't use it.. That's good to know. That should eliminate majority of the potential market there. Obviously, all the GT3s already have it already..
Will do. Tried to PM you but couldn't. Got this message:
