I inspected rear side also, and connector is about to give up here also.

For now I have soldered it together and used epoxy to mold a new connector housing.

Before I started the drive, the car had been sitting on jack stands for about two weeks, wheels been off and front drive shaft have been out so I could change the flex disc.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Currently refurbishing a 996TT Tiptronic and have run into some problems.
Before I started the drive, the car had been sitting on jack stands for about two weeks, wheels been off and front drive shaft have been out so I could change the flex disc. I also changed the gearbox mount.
Started driving and I got ABS and PSM error after 2-3 minutes. I was already on the highway and had to drive for about 5 minutes to return home. The car refused to change gears, and was struck in 2nd (NB: Tiptronic). I had full throttle so it didn't feel like a limp mode.
Luckily I got hold of a iCarsoft i960 OBD reader which was supposed to read Porsche codes for $50, 40 minutes away, so went off and picked it up.
After updating the software I hooked it up and got some codes:
DME: No fault codes
ABS: Fault, 4215 PASM control unit
Tiptronic:
14: Speed comparison between n2 and n3 implausible
51: Transmission slips or gear implausible
39: CAN: DME communication disturbed
31: CAN: Lateral acceleration from PSM implausible
25: CAN: Front left wheel rpm from PSM implausible
23: CAN: Rear left wheel rpm from PSM implausible
Any suggestions on where to start? I have not done anything yet, and the car drove fine before.

It was the ABS sensor rear left. The connector was all cracked, an wire broke. For now I have soldered it together and used epoxy to mold a new connector housing. This is just a temporary solution before I get new wiring. I inspected rear side also, and connector is about to give up here also.
Cleared all codes an ready to go.
