Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I started leaking a little coolant. Near the driver front tire. Got around to pulling the inner fender back today. Think I found the culprit. There is a small plug over what Im guessing is the radiator drain. That rubber plug has cracked. so Im guessing thats an old DIY repair. It only leaks under pressure. my question is two fold. If that is not stock what is supposed to go there? And does anyone know what size that port is?

cool thanks. With the worm clamp I figured it was some home garage stuff.

POST 4Original post

Porsche, at some point, moved from the tension clamp to the worm clamp some years after these cars were originally made. I found this out after I had to replace a $150 coolant hose and I wanted to use the original tension clamps, but a worm clamp showed up instead. I thought it was aftermarket, but indeed, Porsche switched to these at some point.
