Its a shame there isn't a "clean" aftermarket alternative that offers a projector style housing without all the tacky LED rows that the current offerings seem to have.

Suggestion
A good way to do it may be to go to a PCA event where many different colors of cars are available and show how easy it is to change the lights and film it.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I did, I liked them, BUT 6 months on my car, and there is krazing in the drivers side. (fine micro cracks, hundreds of them.
I'm waiting for a warranty on these, but it's been 3 weeks since I've contacted the vendor.
To be fair, if the vendor does come through on this, I WILL report back on how it was handled

But isn’t having a brighter light a safer situation for both you and the deer you might run in to ???
if the stock lights were better I understand but really your health and car safety not matter to you or your family

Its a shame there isn't a "clean" aftermarket alternative that offers a projector style housing without all the tacky LED rows that the current offerings seem to have. There are so many of these cars with damaged, yellowed or burnt headlights, but the aftermarket options are mostly ugly.
Rennkit was producing headlights that combined the classic 996 look with a modern look that seem to have visually worked. But that section of their website on the product is down. Don't know what happening with product, but do hope they continue with it. They produced a couple of YuTube videos that may still be available.
Thanks GC996. Our lighting supplier has been *cough* difficult to work with - they pulled the plug on our shipping arrangement - which has been a nightmare for anyone in manufacturing, distribution and sales.
All online content is down for now.
We are working on an alternative and hope to have these products back in a week or so!
Dave, that would be great. I do like the look. I know it's tough to get enough cars to take pictures, but see what you can do to get more picture examples with both your black and silver versions. A good way to do it may be to go to a PCA event where many different colors of cars are available and show how easy it is to change the lights and film it.
In my case, I have a seal grey 2002 996. I know what the black lights look like with a picture you took and video, but how about the silver lights.
You get the idea. I am cheering you on!
