Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Since 2008/2009 when I had my intermix/cracked head I have been running Peak 50/50 with no problems with hoses, seals or anything else, 11-12 years and over 50,000 miles.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Got home from the first good drive of my car in weeks only to notice coolant flowing from the rear. Not sure its the hose but assuming its a good time to replace the hose, thermostat, and water pump. (See pic)
Whilst looking at the coolant leak, I noticed a drop of oil on the garage floor. Ive not had oil leak previously and I dont think they are related. However, the oil leak gives me more concern and is harder to pinpoint. Anybody seen oil pool on the lower bolt of the drivers side cam bank? There are signs of oil all over the end of the shield, but I cant see traces of oil coming from higher up that match the fresh liquid that is pooling at the bottom. Ive attached some pics but would love some advice/help on this one
Im going to let others w more expertise help out. Just looking at the green coolant, it seems to be the wrong kind. Porsche OE is pink in color. May have an effect on longevity of seals and moving parts.
1. Flush that green stuff out with refill with proper OEM coolant
2. Replace the water pump and rubber hose in question
3. The oil leak is probably the spark plug tubes. Those tubes are known to leak over time and drip down the cam cover plate.
Don't waste your money on the Porsche coolant. Since 2008/2009 when I had my intermix/cracked head I have been running Peak 50/50 with no problems with hoses, seals or anything else, 11-12 years and over 50,000 miles. It is green. And if you want pink then Ravenal, Zerez, Pentafrost and many others make coolant that is fully compatible with Porsche.
Honestly, it doesn't look that bad. Agree with above, spark plug tube leaks make everything look like it's leaking cuz it get's everywhere. All tasks are easily handled at home. No need to send it anywhere.
