Hi, my hardly driven 03' 996 Cabriolet has a few issues.. one being that the HID's (bi-xenon) are not working... both at the same time... checked fuses... the dash gets brighter when turning over the light switch and the light washers work but no lights.... my hi-beam lights also DO WORK but only when I. pull back on the handle... not when pushed forward.... any thoughts to this... the car is well kept and in a garage... im thinking light switch replacement is needed but has anyone experienced this?

The fact that they both stopped working at the same time seems to point to the light switch. Regardless, it�s probably a good idea to pop the light modules out and check that you�ve got good connections there.

Mine did this, it was the ignition switch. The car would start fine, but no lights.
