Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Randomly this morning my horn was beeping when I tried to unlock the doors with the remote. Eh weird I unlocked it with the key and went on with my day. Next thing I knew the windows wouldn't roll down. None of the buttons on the dash did anything (central locking etc) Found fuse C3 15amp blown... Put a new fuse in, everything is back to normal... Why would this happen? Where shouldn't start looking?

POST 2Original post

Check under your driver's seat and see if there is any moisture or puddle. Usually if the immobilizer get's wet in any way, it can create those exact symptoms.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Huh central locking is still upset.. And the trunk and hood wont open

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nothing wet.. Huh. I locked and unlocked the drivers door two times consecutively and it solved the central locking issues. Such an odd thing.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Battery was new 2014, I will do some research on the ignition switch. Mice shouldn't be a culprit, I pretty much drive the car daily when it's not raining.

Yeah Mice is sort of a joke on RL when there are electrical gremlins that can't easily be figured out. We always blame it on them as a scapegoat.
