Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Use help' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

they are
porsche forged ruger wheels
size18 x 10 for the back and on the front 18 x 8.5
He said the offset is
Front is 40/45 and the rear is 45
Thanks in advanced to anyone that can help answer
Yes those should be fine. I have 18x8.5 +42 and 18x10.5 +55 which is really close to that with offsets. Use this site to see the minimal difference.

Rear offset on non-widebody cars is typically 62-65 for OEM wheels depending on the wheel. The wheels he found are for a turbo/widebody at 45 rear offset.
I took information from a few of these sources and put them into one 996-focused listing on a website I'm building. You can check it out at

I still have a few holes to fill in for specialized applications like the GT2, and I want to add the model/year each wheel was standard/optional on the 996. If you have additions or corrections, I would love to add them to the guide.
Sport Designs are a 2-piece wheel, not 3. I believe they were also the GT3 wheel for the 996.1.
What you reference as GT3 wheels are specifically the OEM GT3 wheel for the 996.2.
If I'm not incorrect, the rear offset should be 65, but a lot has to do with the design of the wheel. I think the rears are more forgiving than the fronts where scrubbing can occur.
I never realized how light the SportTechno wheels for the widebodies are. They were the lightest between them and the GT3, and Turbo wheels for the widebody cars.
