I dont know them no, but tbh as long as they can read the DME and do a pretty basic seal, fluid and compression test they should be fine

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am a PCA Pacific Region member looking to add to my P-car collection. There is a 996 Turbo S I am interested in located in Lancaster PA, and I want to find an independent Porsche specialist to do a PPI before I commit to a purchase. Seller recommends Heistand in Manheim PA, but I would rather get a recommendation from people in this forum. Is there someone out there who can recommend a shop not too far from seller? Thanks, Current '88 911 Targa Looking for a 3 pedal Turbo

POST 2Original post

https://rtr-pca.org/index.php/about-...xecutive-board Here is the PCA contact info for that region, I imagine someone could give you a recommendation. I'm in the Philly area but don't know any shops in the Lancaster area. Good luck with the Turbo S!

POST 4Original post

Im not that far away from lancaster. If u want i can do a track day and fully test the car if u want . There r a few good indys near philly. They would not be that far from lancaster. U may want to post in the regional section too.

POST 5Original post

You're looking at the Red car there, it was there when I bought the Midnight car they had. that car has a lot of miles on it, and you'll probably want to repaint the front bumper and hood. Good q on a place to check it out there though...and make sure they check the suspension out pretty carefully as well. Otherwise they are great guys to work with at the dealer, Dave is great to work with.

I was looking at 310 Auto Haus in Pottstown, have you heard anything about them?
